I think that it is not nearly as bad as the media and news makes it out to be, thye should just shut up about it already. We Get It! It is not as good as it used to be. We still have a great country! If they do not think so they should go live in a mud hut in Bangladesh!

I have seen other things about India also, like documentaries and stuff. I know the worst parts of India are a lot worse than the worst parts of the U.S.A. Know what I mean?

The economy sux, I need a job so I am screwed for now, altho my sis did just get a job so that gives me hope.

I think that they do have some part of the blame, but it is mostly irresponsible people that have us here in this mess.

The economy is terrible. I agree the media did have a big part in it. However, it's people's greed and stupidity that got us in this mess.

The economy is on the way back up now, at least it was today according to the stock market. It seems that it is up and down every other day. I am going to stop looking at it, it is irritating how fickle it all is.

I have my job still. I feel lucky to be honest. 600,000 people lost theirs last month. I have become a model employee in the last few months, hahaha.

And don't forget a couple million in the last year or more. I was one of them I got a new job though. I am in college, but I still need a job.

I could have just sat around and said no one's hiring like my loser friends, they still don't have jobs, I do. I choose not to participate in this recession or any.

Hi! The economy's like hemlines. It goes up, then it goes down. Just have to be careful not to don't throw our $ around. Trying to cut down on fast food restaurants & buying on impulse. :whistle:

LOL...nice avitar, looking for a date here? Depend on yourself...thats why our economy "sux". Everyone wants a hand-out, someone else to take care of them. If you really needed a job, you'd have one. Or are you just being picky or lazy?

Ur right everyone does just want a handout. I had that same mentality for a while too tho. It is kind of hard not to when you see banks getting billions of dollars. U have the right attitude you would have to be pick or lazy not to have a job for a long period of time. People nowadays expect things to be handed to them.

A lot of people are STILL losing their jobs. Analysts are predicting recovery by the end of this year. We are half way there and getting closer by the day, just hold on it will get better.

As long as the number of people losing their jobs every month is going down and I still have my job I am happy and don't worry about the rest. You should do the same thing.
