waasmo |2009-09-24 16:51:39 I understand I felt the same way about my boyfriend a few months ago. I just thought to myself if I really want to keep him I will do what it takes. Here is what I did to keep things interesting, I changed our normal routine! We started doing new things like hiking, walking at parks, going to sports events, new things, anything that I could think of. You know what it worked. It might be a couple or few months of doing something new every week or every other week for six months but at the end of the time period and throughout it it definitely spiced things up. It took six months for me to get through it, but we have a lot of nice memories to look back on, and we wil keep on doing some of the new things that we have found that we liked. I just realized that I would probably get bored with anyone that I was with and would regret giving up the relationship that I had simply out of boredom. I took a hard look at whether or not I would miss the person that I was with and I really knew I would. Plus the fact that we already got along in so many areas, and we really loved each other and we had a lot of memories together that I could not get with someone else. I just stuck it out and I am glad I did. We have been married for 16 years now. Bottom line is that you can make it work and get over the being bored, it is up to you not her. It is a two way street.
