Atlanta Man Gives Habitat for Humanity a $100 Million Gift

This is so great, a rich man gave $100 MM to the habitat for humanity. Just think of how many lives that will change. How come I didn't hear about this on my local news today?

Here is some good news for everyone reading this. Alan Greenspan the former chairman of the federal reserve has said that the "global economy has unquestionably improved."

I love this idea, I love to read positive news, if I come here I won't have to search through forty negative news stories to find one positive one. I am happy someone thought of this idea.

I think this is a really positive news story. Scientists have developed a cancer vaccine. I have been hearing about vaccines for this for years it is nice to see one that works as they said they would.

I found two positive news articles that I liked.

The economy is showing signs of improving according to this news story, unemployment numbers are down and so are the new requests for unemployment!

Here is something I came across today. It might mean more free stuff on the internet someday. Someone from the Pirate Party (a la The Pirate Bay)over in Sweden won a seat in their parliment. The person who won the seat did so by getting support from other people in the district that want more free content on the internet. Maybe he can make some things happen and we will get some people in office over here to do the same thing here in the U.S. This just goes to show that the younger generation wants more from what the last generation did. I love the idea of free movies and music I am just too much of a chicken to ever do it. I don't want to go to jail over it so I just spend the $15 for the movie or CD. I don't want to be someone's bitch in jail it is not worth it.

I though this was sweet, Nokia is making a phone that charges itself off of all the extra radio waves floating around, this is so good because it will save power, save money and get some of the unneeded waves out of the air.

Here is a good positive news story! A church is handing out money to the congregation to help others in their local communities.

How great of an idea is this, it helps people and it also helps the people giving the money and helping grow closer to Christ.

I found this touching story about how a boy was lost in the wods and he remebered things from Man Vs. Wild TV show that probably saved his life.

A good story about people coming together to help the helpless. Things like this need to be highlighted to show people that there are good people in the US and good stories too.

Great story here. It is sad when people can not do anything to help themselves. It is really sad when people are older now and they just outlived their money. It is nice to see that there are people who care enough to make a difference like this. Thank you for sharing and highlighting this. Maybe this will inspire others to do more things like this. I know it inspired me.

This is a very positive news story and a testament to human survival and the power of prayer. Three men were ion a capsized boat for a week surviving on crackers and potato chips. They were found alive and well. I'll bet this will change their perspective a little and they will be a ton more thankful for what they do have and not worry so much about what they do not have nearly as much. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_boaters_rescued
