Has anyone here tried Windows 7 yet? By far the best OS I have ever used, it blows Vista and everything else away. It is way faster than XP and looks a lot better. Windows hit the mark with this one.

i use the windows 7 beta, too. They are releasing the release candidate and you will be able to use it for a whole year now. Windows 7 is the best thing they have ever released and it is free right now check it out http://www.quickonlinetips.com/archives/2009/05/download-windows-7-rc-free/ Get it while its hot.

Linux is cool

Linux is cool if you have time to learn it. You have so much more control and stability than with any microsoft operating system. There are Linux servers that run fine without being rebooted for years, try doing that with a micro$oft box, won't happen.

Bottom line is well two things: For most people linux is too hard to get used to, even if they make it just like windows interface what's the point anyway?

Secondly you can't run all of the same programs like in microsoft windows, if you have to use photoshop or CAD you are out of luck. Microsoft has a death grip on everything might as well get used to it. Even a fantastic failure in vista has not hurt them as much as everyone thought it would.

I am ready for the next windows to be available, tried Microsoft Vista and got tired of it after a month after it asked me if I was sure I wanted to do anything, this was what it was like.

Are you sure you want to start this program?

Are you really sure? Are you really, really sure, it might harm your computer? Are you completely sure about this take time to think about it.

That got older faster than poison ivy in places you don\'t want it. I had to have some guy put the older one I had on my old computer, cost me $100 to do it what a hassle. Then I had to reload all my stuff again, geez! I will wait before I jump right in this time.

I wish that Windows 7 was released instead of Vista, Microsoft would be so much better off. Vista took Microsoft back a few steps in peoples opinions.

Got windows7 and I love it. I got it at a windows 7 release party a friend was having, it is by far the best os that microsoft has ever came out with. I am so happy I got it for free instead of shelling out $200 for it.
